"From my point of view, it’s not easy to be an Arab in Mahaneh Yehuda. On days when a suicide attack occurs, for example, I come under threat, but I check to make sure that nothing’s happened to the children. I contact the parents. I find out whether the children got home or not. I’m the last Arab to go home."
